Welcome to Ojibway Park, Home of Laughing Water Beach, located on Highway 17B East in Garden River First Nation, Ontario.

We are now closed for the season from October 14 2023 and will reopen May 17 2024

We offer nightly, weekly, monthly, and seasonal camping rates. Out of our 127 lots, 95 are serviced with water and electric (30 amps) and the rest are non-power lots (some have water hookups). There are four cabins available for nightly and weekly rental that range in size and price (can be found in Rates). Complimentary Wi-Fi can be accessed at the Gatehouse only. While you’re here, don’t forget to check out our nature trail; a 2.7km loop hike offering stunning views of old white pine trees, plenty of flora and fauna species to observe, a scenic lookout, and boardwalk.

Cabin Rentals Are Available!

Four beautiful cabins with power on the beach!  Ranging from $63.00/per night  to $105.00/per night.

The Cabins comes equipped with:
– Coffee maker 
– Microwave
– Mini-fridge (larger fridge in Family Style Cabin)
– Table and Chairs
– 1 set of bunk beds 
– Sofa (single/double mattress pull-out in cabins, comes with mattress protectors DO NOT REMOVE)
– Barbeque (propane and tanks provided)* 
– Fire pit 
– Patio furniture w umbrella

When can I book my reservation?

Reservations for seasonal lots range for booking. We have certain days about a month or two in advance to book for seasonal lots which go fast.
For non-seasonals, cabins, pavilion, nightly/weekly we start to take reservations beginning May 1st of each year as we are open for the season Victoria Day weekend (May long weekend)

What information do I need to book my reservation by phone?

 Please have the following information available:

    • Name, telephone number & email (if you prefer one over the other let us know)
    • Preferred campsite lot
    • Number of people in your party
    • Garden River First Nation registry# (required for discount)

If you have a certain lot in mind, we cannot guarantee you that lot but we will try our best to ensure you are in a lot you will love.

How will my reservation be confirmed?

For seasonals lots we require a 25% payment of the full amount.
For non-seasonals, cabins, pavilion, nightly/weekly we stay organized in our reservation book but can offer a confirmation through email stating the lot will be yours for the days/nights/months booked.
We accept debit, credit, and cash.

What if Garden River First Nation enters into a community lockdown?

Ojibway Park Rental Agreements will be sufficient to enter the community and stay at your reserved.
